Company History
In 1986 as a young entrepreneur, Alan Jensen opened the doors of HomeLift because he saw a need and an opportunity in the accessibility industry to provide quality products and services. Alan was a big believer in small businesses, and he enjoyed forming authentic relationships with vendors, customers, and employees.
A few years later, Alan partnered with Peppi Leland and the two of them forged a path in the middle Tennessee market. They prided themselves in developing an honest and hardworking team that could help anyone from new builders to senior citizens with mobility issues. Alan and Peppi built a company that is now trusted in the accessibility industry.
In 2016, Alan brought Rich Eller on as President and General Manager to assume the day to day operations of HomeLift while continuing to grow and expand the business.
In August of 2017, Alan sadly passed away in a tragic accident. Alan is sorely missed by the employees, customers, manufacturers, and organizations that he supported and led over the years. Peppi continued leading HomeLift into 2018 and then later decided to retire from HomeLift. Rich Eller purchased the company in February 2018 and looks forward to carrying on the amazing legacy Alan and Peppi built over the 32 years in business.
