How much does a stairlift cost?
The cost of a stairlift depends on many factors, such as the length and shape of your stairs. Straight stairlifts start at $3,200 and go up from there. Curved stairlifts start at $9,800 and go up from there. Curved stairlifts require a custom-made rail.
What “brands” of stairlifts do you carry?
We offer Bruno and Stannah stairlifts at HomeLift.
How quickly can a stairlift be installed in my home?
For straight staircases, lead time is 3-5 business days. For curved staircases, lead time varies depending on your stairlift needs. Certain curved models can be installed within a week of purchase; however, other models may take 4-5 weeks to ship to our warehouse. We understand some installations are urgent, and we prioritize them to the best of our ability.
Do you provide stairlift service?
Yes! We guarantee service on all products we originally installed ourselves. We cannot guarantee service on any products we have not installed ourselves.
What is the warranty on a stairlift?
Warranty varies with each stairlift. The different warranties are outlined below:
- Stannah – Lifetime warranty on motor and gearbox, 2-year warranty on parts, 1-year warranty on labor.
- Bruno – Lifetime warranty on motor and gearbox, 2-year warranty on parts, 1-year warranty on labor.
What is the weight capacity of a stairlift?
The weight capacity varies with each stairlift. The different weight capacities are outlined below:
- Bruno Elan – 300 lbs.
- Bruno Elite – 400 lbs.
- Stannah 600 – 350 lbs.
- Stannah 260 – 300 lbs.

Do you buy back stairlifts?
We do not currently buy back stairlifts.
Can you remove my stairlift?
If we originally installed your stairlift, we can remove it for an additional charge. However, we are unable to remove lifts we did not install ourselves.
Can you install a stairlift I purchased online or from a friend? (e.g. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc.)
Unfortunately, we do not install any stairlifts not directly purchased from us.
